Robin penned and illustrated her first manuscript ‘Chickens and their Diseases’, in second grade. Back then her main readings were non-fiction and much restricted because she lived in Nigeria with no library around the corner. She’s been in a variety of places, though the most influential were Nigeria, New Hampshire and California. Her other career is oil landscape painting. She’s married to a paleobotanist, who corrects the science in both her paintings and her writings.
Her novel Night Must Wait, will be published later this year by Imajin Books. The novel pits four powerful women friends in deadly conflict against each other against the backdrop of the Nigerian Civil War in the late 1960’s.
